A C++ error means that your computer is missing a certain file. If reinstalling the game doesn't fix the error, please follow the information below.
First, you will need to determine if your version of Windows is 32-bit or 64-bit. To do this, you need to run what's called a DxDiag. To do this, simply type in DxDiag in the search bar on your taskbar. This should bring up a box that looks similar to the one below:
The 'Operating System' line will tell you if your version of Windows is 32-bit or 64-bit.
Once you've determined which version of Windows you have, you will now need to download a file package to replace the one that's missing. Start with the 2022 version that corresponds with the version of Windows that you have (32-bit vs 64-bit). Once you've downloaded the file, navigate to your downloads folder, and click on the .exe file you've just downloaded. Once it's installed, restart your computer and try your game again. If the initial file downloaded doesn't fix your DLL issue, there are several other versions of the file, so work your way down the list below:
32-bit
64-bit
